MIXED MEDIA ARTIST

Combining his graphic design and fine arts background, Jesse integrates a mix of typography, expressive brushstrokes, patterns, and the occasional Garbage Pail Kid Card into his work to create depth, texture and movement.

Jesse started a branding and design company within two years of graduating college and was teaching college-level design two years after that. From 2010 until 2018, he served as Creative Director at Seven2, a digital agency in Spokane overseeing projects for companies like Amazon, AT&T, Disney, Pokemon and more. Years of live-painting for non-profit and corporate events and a past that involved college-level athletics gave him the idea for a friendly competition between artists. In 2011, he launched the Seven2 DrawOff, a series of live art battles that support local charities. Since then he’s been working on new collections, commissions, and supporting non-profit organizations through live painting across the nation.

Jesse works from his home studio in Spokane, where he also hosts an 18-year artist residency program currently occupied by his five children.
