USC Olympic Gold Medalists Mural - Jesse Pierpoint

This 45 foot mural was created to honor the athletes from USC who hold World Records and Olympic Gold Medals in throwing.

The recently completed Colich Throwing Center in Wilmington, CA proudly showcases a magnificent mural that pays homage to the illustrious USC Olympic Gold Medalists in throwing. This awe-inspiring work of art, measuring an impressive 45' wide by 14' tall, captures the essence of athleticism and grace exhibited by these exceptional athletes. The mural tastefully combines limited colors and intricate details to immortalize the achievements of these remarkable individuals while adorning the center's walls with an undeniable sense of pride and accomplishment. With each stroke of paint, the mural serves as a reminder of the dedication and talent that emanates from the USC throwing program, inspiring present and future generations to strive for greatness within the world of sports.

Commissioned by John Colich, who has supported USC athletics for many years, had the vision for a facility dedicated to throwing for athletes in the area.
