I’ve always loved Peanuts.
Growing up in Northern California, Charles Schulz felt like a hometown hero. Watching him work and learning to ice skate with my best friend Brad at his Ice Arena are memories I’ll always treasure. I also enjoyed stopping for hot chocolate and visiting his offices, well worth a visit if you’re in Santa Rosa, CA. This piece, hanging at the Stancraft Jet Center in North Idaho, was inspired by one of my favorite scenes: Snoopy as the Red Baron.
